Blues' Academy Launched
Dunstable Town FC and Northfields Technology College are joining forces
to launch a Dunstable Town Academy for 16-18 year olds. The academy is
to be headed by Dunstable Town Blues and Bedfordshire County u18's manager,
Kevin Thoburn, and will ensure that young footballers will enjoy the highest
levels of football and education.
The two year course involves studying towards a BTEC National Diploma (equivalent to three A levels) in sport. There is also a one year course working towards a BTEC 1st Diploma. The students from these courses will also make up the Dunstable Town Blues squad.
