a hectic FA Vase win, it's back to the league to face second
place Tring Athletic. Tring have been in great form, with
ex-Blue Nick Jackson scoring for fun. Dunstable and Tring
often bring the best out in each other so we hope for an entertaining

Town on BBC Radio
The
Blues' tie with Hanwell Town was featured on tonight's BBC
Non-League Show. Paul 'Pipeman' Harris spoke to the BBC's
Caroline Barker and Hayes & Yeading goalkeeper Lee Harrison
about the tie with a follow up in the next fortnight about
the ground and a new book.

Town 4-2 Hanwell Town
An
extraodinary FA Vase tie which saw a 2-2 draw, the match abandoned
and an extra-time win. Grant Carney (2), Luke Lincoln and Dean
Whittaker earned Dunstable a home tie against Cranfield United
on Saturday 18th September. Please read Pipeman's report on

Green 2-1 Dunstable Town
Two
needless mistakes at the back cost Town dearly. Michael Moss
returned to the fold, and became the instant hero as his wind-assisted
cross flew in over the Holmer Green keeper. Dunstable failed
to take hold of the tie, wasting so many good chances before
a static defence and woeful backpass allowed Dean Allen two
easy finishes. |
